Frequently Asked Questions

Teacher, you speak of the Mind, Body and Spirit training. What do you mean by the spiritual training in Shao-lin?

When we speak of Spiritual training in Shao-lin we are referring to recognition of the wonders of life, and the harmony within nature. Shao-lin training starts in the mind, is manifested in the body, and directed toward the spiritual.

Don't confuse the word "spiritual" with "religion"; both can exist at the same time, or one without the other. Those with a Spiritual eye can see the wonders of God, but how you wish to express this in the form of worship is your own preference.

What Shao-lin tries to do in its spiritual quest is to make you more aware of the wonders and mysteries of the universe and how to harmonize with them.
